GETTING TO TERTIARY
Tertiary Colors are composed of adjacent Primary and Secondary Colors. For example, the Tertiary Color MAGENTA is composed of the primary color red and its adjacent secondary color purple. The Tertiary color AMBER is a mix of the primary color yellow and its adjacent secondary – orange and so on. I painted GETTING TO TERTIARY using just the three Primary Colors to form the center acorn and then expanding those three colors, as demonstrated in this painting.
