ORIGAMI Revised Again

Eric D. Demaine is a professor of computer science. He produced the origami which is the basis of this picture. This work was labor intensive: I sandpapered a particle board and copied the image of Demaine’s origami onto the particle board. I used wood filler to form the folds and then used wood stain to “paint” it.

After a few  years, I decided that the monochromatic version of this painting was boring. I decided to use metallic acrylic paint to brighten it up.
